I spent this last week in Washington D.C. with my friend Jodi. It was super fabulous. I saw so much, walked so much, and learned so much. It was great to get out of Savannah and gain some new perspective. My favorite part was the National Gallery of Art. It was fantastic. I saw so much art! Monet, Degas, Picasso, Taoulouse Lautrec, Da Vinci, Rembrandt, and Warhol, just to name a few. It was quite amazing to see the art I have spent so long learning about.
I also got to go to the Textile Museum and see some Ottoman textiles, super fabulous! I feel so inspired and grateful for the people who have made it possible for these places to be FREE or extremely cheap to visit. It is always a feel good moment when you get to see your taxes at work for something you support.
I am also grateful for this beautiful and amazing country we live in and for all the people who have died to make it possible! Such an amazing history! If you ever get the chance to go to D.C. I truly recommend it. The Metro was super easy to ride and everyone we met was very friendly.
Wow you look amazing!!!!!
